DAYTONA BEACH'S BIKE-WEEK CONCEPTS
These images were designed with a particular style at heart; which, was intended to showcase Daytona Beach, Florida's bikeweek. I grew up in this small beach town and was able to witness many events that took place throughout the past four decades. The one thing that stayed a constant was the style of the rugged biker. This style is similar to the cowboys of the west. Dirt combined with sweat gave way to grease and bugs. These are printed designs 80lb paper sized large at 18"X24". They offer a fun and conceptual look, which of the attendees to these events display everyday. The work showcases a sterotype common with most biker rally's. Perhaps one will remind you of a special person.
This illustration pencil came from a reference and it started the concept drawings within this page. I was then asked to draw these type of characters on actual motorcycles to incorporate the annual bike fest in Daytona Beach, Florida
